Who drives Innovation?

  Brad Feld's post on the overstated role of VC's in creating an entrepreneurial ecosystem inspired me to create a couple of simple diagrams outlining who drives innovation and what is the size of the role eaCH playS in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.  I am interested in feedback whether you think I have it right, the balance of roles or is their a better diagram out there you can point to. slide1slide2

Thanks for the comment Brad. I put this together with an entirely different interpretation. The large red circle representing the entire ecosystem with entrepreneurs representing the most impact with each smaller circle representing less importance. This is why I asked for comments so I could find out what other people think and how they interpret.

I think this first graph is good but the second one isn't. The second implies that the service providers are at the core of the ecosystem, which they aren't.
