I haven't posted much recently because I've been head down working on getting a new app out the door. I'm happy to announce that we (
Squeejee) have launch
TweetSaver.com!
TweetSaver is a service that allows Twitter users to back up, tag, search and share their tweets quickly and easily. Currently, search.twitter.com only allows people to search the most recent 6 days of tweet history. If a user goes to a twitter.com profile there are 3200 tweets accessible if you're willing to manually page through all of them. If you want something easy to use or access to older tweets you've been out of luck until now.
TweetSaver will grab a user's 3200 most recent tweets as well as all of their mentions, direct messages and favorites. We'll then back up new tweets on a regular basis. Once we've synced a user's account they can then search all the way back through their history and see results broken down by status updates, mentions, DMs and favorites. If a user tags tweets, they can also search and view tweets by tag.
If you come across an old tweet you want to share, we make it easy to send a tweet out to your tweetstream, Facebook, Tumblr or just about any other social sharing/bookmarking service.
Check out
TweetSaver.com and give it a go!

This great. Thx
Twitter is too big for me and I think that such services could be helpful. This is great idea and it would be cool to try it. This will help to put out this mess and provide order among my tweets.
Good luck, looks like a great tool for research
Just an update, we now have a 7 day free trial available on the site :-)
Excellent post, will look at this more closely.
That's great! Thank you for sharing this useful information. 3200 most recent tweets and also their mentions are really a good number.
Donna, shoot me an email at bradley[at]squeejee.com and I'll see what I can do :-) thanks!
Congratulations! I write for the North Carolina Startup Blog. Any chance of getting a coupon to give your new service a whirl? I'll blog my experience as well and push to 10,000 engaged followers (@indiebusiness). Thanks! Donna Maria
