The Venture Club of Louisville will meet next Wednesday, December 3rd at the Galt house @ 11:30am. The featured Speaker will be Andy Swan, CEO of Mytrade.com. Mr. Swan, graduated from Bellarmine University in 2000 and earned a full scholarship to Boston University School of Law. In 2000 he started a company called DaytradeTeam with his brother and partner Landon Swan. DaytradeTeam was the first financial company to stream live video content over the internet through the entire trading day. Six years after starting DaytradeTeam, his company was acquired by a private company for 7 figures. After selling DaytradeTeam, Mr. Swan started mytrade.com which quickly became the number one social networking website for investors. Eleven months after founding mytrade, his new website company was acquired by Thinkorswim, a public held company (Nasdaq: SWIM) for 7 figures.  Mr. Swan is currently the President of the mytrade division of Thinkorswim and he is an angel investor in several startups including Lifelock, TubeMogul, BuddyMedia and Disqus.
