To follow up on my recent post about ideas for starting a business, I wanted to mention a great website that offers several new ideas per day and an archive of ideas going back to 2001.  It's Dane Carlson's Business Opportunities Weblog and it's one of the stand-by's in terms of reviewing business ideas.   If you're exploring new trends in startups, checking your most idea for uniqueness, or just browsing... its a great source.

Quite a few are franchise-based, which may not fit your definition of a startup idea (lets face it, a franchise is a system to apply someone else's idea), but this is not exclusively a franchise site. While you're at it, check Dane's blogs; he runs a dozen of them, all listed at the bottom of his site.
